Category BE (car-trailer combination, driven by a vehicle in Category B with a registered gross weight exceeding 3,500 kg).

Training is available to individuals who hold a Category B driving license and are at least 20 years old.

It is also possible to take the course with a provisional driving license, but the right to drive a Category BE vehicle combination will only become active after exchanging the provisional license for a full one.

The training course includes:

Theory course — 3 x 45 minutes

Practical course — 2 x 45 minutes

Cources

A student must hold a Category B driving license and be at least 20 years old to enroll in the course. It is also possible to take the course with a primary (initial) license, but the right to drive a Category BE combination vehicle will only become valid after exchanging the primary license.

The theoretical part of the training takes place conveniently through an online learning platform. To begin the training process, please fill out the registration form and send it to us. On the same day, we will contact you and send an invoice for the start of the training and the theoretical part. As soon as the invoice is paid, you can begin your studies

The practical part of the course includes at least two driving lessons, each lasting 45 minutes. Training is conducted using a Toyota Land Cruiser with a trailer having a maximum authorized mass of 1600 kg.

Prices

€300 — Total cost of the Category BE course

–€100 — Tuition fee (discounted price)

Includes: tests and theory during online training, administrative costs, registration, data submission to the Transport Department, consultations, and document processing.

–€200 — Driving lessons fee (2 × 45 minutes)
Includes 45 minutes of exercises on the training ground, 45 minutes of driving in the city, school assessment of exercises, consultations, and an interpreter for the state driving exam.

Additional fees:

– €90 — Rental of car and trailer for the exam at the Transport Department

– €35 — Additional 45-minute driving lesson

Learning stages

Registration
To register for the course, click the REGISTER button on the website and fill out the application form, or register in person at our office (Mere pst. 4). Please check if your medical certificate is valid (you can obtain it from your family doctor).

Feedback
You will receive an email with further instructions at the address you provided.

Theory
After payment, you will receive an email with a link and login details for the online learning platform. At the same time, we will register you with Maanteeamet (the Transport Authority). Once you complete the theory course, please notify the driving school, and we will send you a link for the remote theory exam. After that, you can schedule your theory exam at Maanteeamet.

Driving Practice
It is recommended to start practical training alongside the theory course. To do this, you need to get a training card from your driving instructor. The instructor will contact you after the theory payment is confirmed. In conclusion, you will need to pass a driving skills assessment
