Minimum lessons needed are 27 theory lessons (45 min each) and 27 driving lessons (45 min each) which will take place according to national study plan. Course runs for seven weeks. After successfully passing the school exams, the student will be issued a graduation certificate, which is needed to register for ARK exams. Initial stage night time training

To get a B/B1-category driver’s license, you must pass night time training as part of your initial training. If youre taking initial stage training during a time when there is no dark times (summer), then night time training must be completed on the first opportunity after completing initial stage training or before final stage training. Night time training consists of one theory lesson and one driving lesson.

Initial stage slippery track hazard prevention training

To get a B/B1-category driver’s license, you must pass slippery track hazard prevention training as part of your initial training. The purpose of this training is to increase awareness of the importance of driving the car at appropriate speeds according to road and weather conditions and to keep proper distance from other vehicles when driving. The training consists of two theory lessons and one driving lesson.

Final stage training (slippery track training in order to get a permanent license)

The purpose of final stage training is to make sure the student knows and understands how to drive safely without taking risks, how to take into consideration other users of the road and how to drive in way that’s environment-friendly. If you have a primary license, you must pass this training in order to exchange your license for a permanent one. If you have a limited license (still studying without having passed exams), you must first obtain a primary license before you can take this course. Theory lessons for this training must take place in person, not online, and the theory lesson must take place as a practicum. Training consists of one hour of theory and one hour of driving. When taking the final stage training, you must have on your person your study card and primary license or ID. This course can be taken with student’s own car, if previously agreed upon with the instructor.

First aid training

As part of initial stage training to obtain a driver’s license, students must pass a first aid training course. First aid training lasts for 16 hours, one third of which will be practical study.

Additional driving lessons

If a student has not acquired the necessary knowledge and skills during the mandatory 27 driving lessons, they can take additional lessons. We also offer this service to those who already have a license, but haven’t been able to practice driving independently for whatever reason. You can choose the car, the instructor and a time that suits you.

Consultations

If you have any questions about studies, exams, obtaining or restoring a license, or traffic regulations, you can come for a consultation. Consultations are free for driving school students.

E-school

We understand it is not always possible to attend the theory lessons. Atlanta Driving School offers a unique option of taking the theory lessons through our e-school.
